Candle 101
Before Lighting:

▸Keep away from flammable objects, children, and pets: Make sure to keep the candle away from anything that could catch fire, as well as out of reach of children and pets.
▸ Burn your candle so the wax pool reaches the jar edge: To prevent wax tunneling, it is important to burn your candle so that the wax pool reaches the edge of the jar. This will ensure that all the wax is used and not wasted.
First Burn:
▸Burn long enough to prevent tunneling: To prevent tunneling, it is important to burn the candle long enough on the first burn so that the wax is fully melted all the way to the edge of the jar.
Extinguishing:
▸ Never blow out a candle: Instead of blowing out a candle, use a snuffer or a wick dipper to extinguish it. This helps to prevent hot wax from splattering.
▸ Stop use when only 1/4 inch of wax remains: Once there is only 1/4 inch of wax left in the jar, it is time to stop using the candle.
